I designed this cat bandana with safety in mind. I was worried that if a kitty got snagged on something while wearing their bandana, they could get stressed, trapped, or hurt. I couldn't fathom making something for a pet to wear around its neck that didn't have a break-away option. This was the motivation behind the elastic loop closure that is a feature on every bandana from The Punchy Cat.

Answer: As long as their neck measures between the listed increments for size you select it should fit them. Make sure you measure carefully and leave a bit of room for their comfort, as I do not do exchanges or returns on bandanas.
